Well, the inspection was very anti-climactic. In about 5 minutes, we were passed for plumbing, but failed electrical. Apparently, for rough-in, the wire needs to be stripped, and the ground wires tied together - all right length in the box for switches. So, we got a good jump on doing that, and will shoot for re-inspection on Wednesday.
Insulation is in Norfolk, but no delivery available for tomorrow - but confirmed for Wednesday between 9 and noon. Uncle Joe leaves tomorrow, Joey on Wednesday afternoon, so still will have help unloading. Big thanks to them for the past several days - a huge help.
A/C replacement to begin tomorrow with equipment delivery and new duct installation - ECD Saturday. Assuming I pass electrical inspection on Wednesday, will begin insulation installation on Thursday with targeted mechanical inspection next Monday, and insulation inspection next Tuesday. To help with insulation, David is returning, along with sister Angie and brother-in-law Paul on Friday. Family is wonderful.
I booked wall installation to begin on Thursday (6/24). It will SO nice to have walls back. That gives me only one day of schedule slop (Wednesday, 6/23) in case of inspection failure - but I'm pretty confident that I have this under control.
