Inspection Passed!

Been a while - hit a new milestone - we passed inspection!

Was not too eventful - I had not caulked the kitchen counter, and that was an issue, but small enough to be overlooked (and now corrected anyway), so I can take down the permits - all done by the book.

If you're interested in coming to the Open House next Saturday, you're welcome to; if you don't have my contact info, just drop me a line or leave a message and I'll follow up with more specifics. Panera catered for lunch, chicken for dinner - fun in-between.

  1. Hey Patrick - we are getting ready to start this process. :-( My wife talked with you a while back and you were considering a non-profit org to help people with this issue. I'm a CPA and have done non-profit start-up work in the past. If you're still thinking about doing this, let me know and we can talk about making it happen.

Back to the process - how did you map the house and do the protocol for saving the evidence for Fallon?

  2. I went so far as to reserve a Corporation name with the Virginia State Corporation Commission, but I let it fizzle after that... No momentum or interest... I think perhaps a better approach is through local churches, but I haven't engaged yet...

Regardless, I'd be happy to share what we did in any detail - sorry I didn't notice this for so long - you can contact me directly through the VCDW website (http://victimschinesedrywall.com/default.aspx) and webmaster Colleen Stephens-Nguyen, through the VDCW Facebook page, or through Richard Serpe's Law Office - I don't think I have posted my email anywhere on this site to avoid spammers and the like...
